The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to help us design, build, test, and maintain high-performance AI-driven applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient software systems while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Software Development: Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of software systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Work with AI frameworks and systems to create solutions for real-world applications.
  • Service Testing: Lead creation and implementation of automated test framework that validates all aspects of the service functionality: regression, end-to-end integration, scalability, reliability.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including data scientists, machine learning researchers, and other engineers. Provide mentorship to junior engineers, offering guidance and helping to elevate team performance.
  • System Architecture & Design: Contribute to architectural decisions and strategies, ensuring that software is both maintainable and extensible. Provide input on long-term system design and ensure it aligns with business objectives.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance and efficiency. Champion code reviews, test-driven development, and continuous integration practices.
  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high-quality user experiences and system reliability. Take ownership of critical problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and software engineering. Experiment with new technologies and methodologies to keep the team at the forefront of the industry.

What we expect from you
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in algorithms,  systems design, and cloud deployments.
  • Experience in Node.js and JavaScript programming. Experience with Python, Java, and cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with automated cloud deployment frameworks (e.g.,Terraform)
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Grafana)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Team leadership experience is a plus

Educational Background:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates with equivalent hands-on experience, certifications, or non-traditional education (e.g., coding bootcamps) may also be considered.
